Stacking The Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It is all about sharing the books you are adding to
your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include
books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends
or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
For me (bought with Mr.Visa):
I actually read Legend shortly after it came out in ebook format. But, I am trying to build up my classroom library and thought I would pick this up before it was unavailable in hardcover. I hate mismatched covers or formats and with the amazing cover for Prodigy, I had to make sure I was able to have a matching set.
I also picked up an ebook copy of:
If you haven't already, check out my dream casting for this book.
For the Munchkin:
I love the Amazing Baby board books. Munchkin received one of them (Baby Boo) in his newborn reading package and I haven't been able to find a single one in any of the bookstores in the city and have resorted to buying online (though I would prefer to actually LOOK at them prior to buying). He really like the baby faces in Baby Boo and the bright colors in this one, AND he has learned how to turn the pages!

I LOVED Legend! I just thought it was such an awesome book! :) I got it from the library, though. I HATE having mismatched formats and just having one book in the series, too, but I go to the library so much that it's always happening. :( I only have, like, 20ish books on my shelf and I need to get more! Ahh! Great haul! I hope he likes the Rainbow Fun booklet!
Check out my Stacking the Shelves!
I loved Legend too and didn't know news of the sequel was already out - so thanks because I have to read that!

LOVED Legend and can hardly wait for book 2 to come out! Happy reading :) I hope you'll drop by and check out my StS post for this week :)
Ahhh that mouse cover is so cute! I'm checking it out now on Goodreads to see what its about. And I loved Legend and am so excited for Patriot now. It feels like its been forever for this series. Enjoy!

One of my pet peeves is when I buy a book in one format and can find the sequel to match. Urgh!
The book for your baby is cute. We have moved to stuff for "big" boys (learning to write and read). Yay for turning the pages :)
And I so badly want to read Let's pretend..., I hard it's laugh out loud funny.
Have a great weekend! New GFC follower.
Here's my StS.
I also need my sets to match, i hate when they change cover style in the middle of a series!
I have Legend as well, but haven't gotten through my clutter of books yet.

I loved loved loved Legend so much! :) It's one of my favorites! I hope you enjoy it too!
Happy reading! Hopping from Stacking the Shelves. :)
Here's my bookish haul this week at Fragments of Life!
I agree, Legend was a very good book - and I'm the same with my covers, very picky about them matching! It also bugs me when I can't find a book in hardcover and have to try hunting it down or just get it in paperback. Definitely a good idea to pick it up now, and I bet the kids will love it!
The baby book is so cute- I haven't seen those around, but they look really neat. Enjoy!

Let's Pretend This Didn't Happen has just about the cutest cover ever! Thanks for sharing! My StS
I haven't read Legend, yet. Great haul! Enjoy reading. :D
My STS
The cover of Let's Pretend This Never Happened is hilarious! I looked it up on Goodreads and am intrigued. Happy reading!
My new additions
Great set! I seem to be the only person who hasn't read The Bloggess. I should rectify that.
My Bookish Recap
Legend is totally in my tbr list!!! I've heard great things about it :) enjoy your books!
Beautiful blog!!!

Legend sounds like a good read. Seen a lot of good reviews for it on Goodreads. Have added it to my TBR list. Thanks. Hope you enjoy your books.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I am hoping next week will be bigger as I know that there are a few things in the mail but Canada Post is quickly becoming my nemesis for their slow delivery.
The For anyone with babies, I highly recommend the Amazing Baby series. A couple of their books feature pictures of baby faces and Munchkin just laughs and giggles at every new page.
